Where to stay in Ann Arbor

Please call/email Joachim and I first to let us know that you are coming so that we can possibly help with arrangements for accommodations, transportation, and entertainment. :)

If you would like to go ahead and make arrangements for accommodations yourself, I would recommend the following:

Bell Tower Hotel(300 S Thayer St, 48104) P.734.769.3010
I went here for a fancy dinner with Amy our Jr. year for Prom. The ambiance was very nice, somewhat old-fashioned, so if you're into that, this may be the place for you. Great location too, right on campus. Not sure about price though.

Campus Inn (615 E. Huron St, 48104) P.800.666.8693
Great location downtown, but $$$

Weber's Inn (3050 Jackson Ave., 48103) P.734.769.2500
Not the best location (5 min from Downtown), but nice. Oh! and hey, I worked here as a banquet waitress back in the day. They have great food, and my fam loves to spend b-day lunches/dinners here.

There are also some hotels listed on the following website which may be good, since it was written by locals. You may want to look at a hotel that is close to either central campus or the north side of town (where the wedding will be). www.annarbor.org

There are also a few B&B's in town.. I would recommend something close to downtown, something close to the fun. :) Anyway, let me know if you have any questions!

Anne Richardson
Annie bananie! :) Living out here in SF with her wonderful bf Danny. Working at the Exploritorium (SF's version of the hands-on-museum) while also working on a long distance PhD over in NH. Of all my friends, I've known her the longest- we go way back to kindergarten with Mrs. Gailbreth (and I'm not actually sure how to spell that either, which in a way, would make sense.)

Groomswoman & Groomsmen:

Stefanie Kainz
Sister of the handsome guy at the top of the page! :) Stefanie is fun and wonderbare! Super athletic, super cute, sharp, and wise- we can't wait to see her in Michigan! Living in Wien (Vienna) with Julia (we love her too!), and studying theory of theatre.. Watch out Bellini, here comes Kainz!

Eric Castain
BBQ-er extraordinaire, he even gives my mom a run for her specialty dishes-- and yes, he does bear belly chicken too! Fellow commander at Wells, also enjoys spending occasional weekends up at Tahoe where he designed and built a second home! We really like this guy! :)

Patrick Hill
PJ & Yassi live with their two wonerful children, Sam (3) & Maya (1) in the Berkeley Hills. They are great ski buddies and bbq buddies, and hopefully soon to be water park buddies! :) We can't wait to show them around the town of Ann Arbor!

Daniel Winokur
This really wonderful guy is dating this gorgeous, I mean, she must have been the reason they created the term "drop dead," blond bombshell! :) Our Annie! We can't wait to see these two walk down the aisle together (and they can get a little practice of their own in! ) Danny is currently working with Joachim at Wells where he uses his dimples to charm everyone.
